Responsibilities

The Opportunity

PepsiCo Positive serves as the central framework guiding all sustainability and social impact efforts, driving the company’s mission to operate sustainably while creating a positive impact on people, communities, and the environment. This role will lead and execute the strategic engagement, partnerships, and communication strategy to enhance the company’s sustainability commitments and corporate reputation in Central America & the Caribbean. This role will strengthen external positioning and internal alignment, fostering meaningful partnerships with key stakeholders to amplify awareness and maximize impact. Drive initiatives that position the company as a leader in sustainability and social responsibility, contributing to enhanced reputation rankings and stakeholder perception. Ensure a digitalization and data-driven mindset, leveraging analytics to measure impact and optimize engagement strategies.

Your Impact

As Strategic Partnerships and Engagement Manager your scope would consist of:

  • Lead the social and sustainability programs for Caricam & Enhance the company’s external reputation through targeted communication and advocacy efforts that showcase PepsiCo positive agenda (social impact and sustainability programs).
  • Ensure proper engagement from leaders and employees to the pep+ agenda, with focus on regional priorities for CARICAM: positive agriculture; food security; community resilience; water; positive choices and positive value chain.
  • Design and execute initiatives that improve consumer, clients, and employee engagement with the sustainability agenda and social impact, ensuring high visibility and positive positioning.
  • Lead the 2 local Foundations in CARICAM along business leaders and multifunctional local teams.
  • Enhancing external reputation with stakeholders from industry / local government / sustainability / civil society through a 360 robust annual communication plan.
  • Manage and evolve the annual Volunteer Program, increasing employee engagement, fostering a culture of purpose and pride within the organization and attaining a social positive impact in the communities where PepsiCo has presence.
  • Develop and execute an internal communications strategy to engage employees with the sustainability and social impact agenda, ensuring awareness of achievements, results, volunteer opportunities, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Perform as Point of Contact and key stakeholder for the PepsiCo Global Foundation and Latam team, to download initiatives and fundraising efforts by identifying opportunities to strengthen the pep+ agenda.
  • Monitor and analyze reputation rankings and stakeholder sentiment, gathering insights to refine engagement strategies and enhance positive impact.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in international relations, Communications, Marketing, Political Science, with more than 5 years of experience in corporate social responsibility, sustainability or related. A master´s degree in a relevant field it's a plus.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder relations, reputation, corporate communications, and advocacy.
  • Experience ESG, sustainability, social impact, and fundraising strategies.
  • Proven experience and skills in designing and executing Corporate Social Responsibility/Sustainability Programs.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills to establish high-impact collaborations.
  • Strong project management and budget oversight capabilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, scorecard creation, and impact measurement
  • Digitalization and data-driven mindset to optimize engagement strategies.
  • Strong internal communications skills to drive employee engagement and awareness of the initiatives.

  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
