In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
The Pre-Sales & VAR Account Manager is responsible for handling the VAR (Value-Added Resellers) client accounts.
These accounts market leading the top FORZA Enterprise products and Enterprise Solutions, and the Pre-Sales & VAR Account Manager must build and maintain a strong relationship with these clients. They will be the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipate the client's needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and help the client succeed. The Pre-Sales & VAR Account Manager will also bring in new business from existing clients or contacts and will develop new relationships with potential clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing a solid and trusting relationship between VAR clients and the company.
- Expanding relationships and bringing in new clients.
- Managing communications between VAR clients and internal teams.
- Developing a complete understanding of VAR accounts’ needs.
- Anticipating VAR account changes and improvements.
- Resolving key client issues and complaints.
- Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines.
- Strategic planning to improve client results.
- Negotiating trade agreements with VAR accounts and establishing annual/quarterly goals.
- Establishing and overseeing internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the client.
- Collaborating with the sales team to maximize profit through up-selling or cross-selling.
- Account Management and Reporting
- Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management.
Requirements for the role:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- With four to five years of experience in sales, management, VAR account management, or a relevant role.
- Technical expertise in power electronics and three-phase electrical systems and solutions, as well as an in-depth understanding of key clients and their position in the industry.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
- A strong track record of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals is essential, along with the ability to analyze data and sales statistics to develop effective solutions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel, is highly desirable.
