Senior Operations Manager, Finance & Accounting

Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Manager to lead our Finance & Accounting division, servicing global clients in the BPO industry. This role will oversee end-to-end F&A operations including P2P, O2C, and R2R, ensuring service excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will combine deep financial expertise with a client-focused mindset and experience managing large, remote teams in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders on finance and accounting operations.
    • Ensure delivery of high-quality, SLA-compliant services across multiple client accounts.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships to understand evolving client needs and propose value-added solutions.

  • Operational Leadership
    • Lead day-to-day F&A operations, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
    • Manage a team of finance professionals and team leads, fostering performance, engagement, and development.
    • Drive standardization, automation, and continuous process improvement across all finance functions.

  • Financial Control & Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, internal controls, and client-specific compliance standards.
    • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and reporting.

  • Strategic Planning & Reporting
    • Provide insights and reporting on KPIs, operational efficiency, and financial trends.
    • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for both internal and client-facing reporting.

  • Transformation & Change Management
    • Lead process transitions, migrations, and implementations for new client engagements or expansions.
    • Champion the adoption of digital tools (e.g., RPA, ERP platforms) to drive scalability and productivity.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s/MBA/CPA preferred).
  • 8–12 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role within a BPO or shared services environment.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale F&A operations for international clients.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, IFRS, GAAP).
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong domain of English >90%

  • Experience leading multi-location teams.
  • Exposure to process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment with competing priorities.
